Three Powerful Planet Changing Words   T hese are three words that settled the absolute single most important Eternal matter: After sacrificing His body and blood, and after God making Him -- Jesus -- to be sin for us, even though He had never sinned, that we might become the very righteousness of Christ, Jesus declared victory! Yep! He declared victory with his very last dying breath! He paid the ultimate price as He laid down His life for His friends. That's you and me, people! And when He said, “It IS Finished,”  God Almighty settled it: It was finished ! Make Jesus truly your Lord and Savior. Turn from your brokenness, lostness and the sin that is destroying your life. Turn to Jesus, and ask Him to forgive you for all your sins. Ask Him to help you. Ask Him to deliver you,  and He will forgive you, and He will transform you.   Who Is God to His Children A Christ Follower's Perspective and Healthy Heavenly View. Many have an unhealthy (unholy) view of God that hinders their ability to know God and turn from their brokenness and sin to God.   Below is a healthy view of God that I have found helps those traumatized in life. And it helps those who are lost, or feel, lost to rewrite the bad scripts in their head and heart so they can find solid freedom in Christ.   A Lot Has Happened A lot has happened in my life over the past year or so. My CHF has come to a point where my medical professionals tell me that they advise me to take each day as a gift.  Throughout each day, my heart reminds me I am in a not so feeling good place; however, I have discovered God's will in this. I have discovered that what Paul said about this is absolutely true: God told him, "My grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness." (2 Corinthians 12:8b) What God told Paul, though it seems an odd way to discover God's will, is that it is indeed God's will that the Almighty empowers us, even at our most weak points in life. We just have to choose to allow His power to flow. This allows me, each gift of a new day, to live a full life in spite of what the medical professionals indicate is  a "death sentence."  I may go home to heaven today.   God's Will and Jesus Movement Towards The Cross As Jesus moved deliberately towards the Cross, that was rising up awesomely on the horizon, He knew He would be leaving soon, and there is something He wanted to be sure He left behind for Christ Followers:  He wanted to leave us the ability to be able to maintain a steady course every step into the future. Yes, the gift He left is definitely God's will for us.  He knew there would be troubling times, and He knew that there were times when fear would try to wheedle its way in to the Christ Follower's journey, your journey and mine. So, it was God's will to leave P.E.A.C.E. behind for you and me to embrace in order to have the stuff to be enough. How To Embrace This P.E.A.C.E. Gift Now, as He offered, and still does offer this gift,  which is God's will for us to experience, it is clear that He would never force this P.E.A.C.E. on us.   Live To Please God Finally, dear brothers and sisters, we urge you, in the name of the Lord Jesus, to live in a way that pleases God, as we have taught: You live this way already, and we encourage you to do so even more.   “The Spitting Image” The Son is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. Colossians 1:15a When I was a boy, people could say, “Boy oh boy, you are the spitting image of your Dad!” Now that I am old, once people see my old man pictures, they tell me. ” You look just like Granddaddy or Dad.” I take this as a compliment; however, I can only dream that I come close to this.
