A Christ Follower: The Journey

Is it really true that, "It is not what happens to you, but what you do with what happens to you?"  Let me say that it is not easy trying to live up to this ideal, but giving up is not an option.   Spend time in prayer. Figure out your resources and  develop a plan. (People who do not plan are planning to fail.)  Implement the plan by stepping out in faith as you put one foot in front of the other... one step at a time... one day at a time. Keep on stepping until some thing happens as you P-U-S-H: Pray Until Something Happens. Evaluate your circumstances as you journey out the plan.  Pray some more, and adapt your plan so that it will be more effective an efficient. Prayers with plans that are given faith filled legs to the prayers usually make something happen.  Please do not give up... I am praying you will be... Blessed 2-day... Especially 2-day SoJourner

Hope {especially for those who do not have a whole lot of it in their "hope chest" }  is a motivating spiritual empowerment that helps a person keep putting one foot in front of the other... even when they do not feel like it. Yup! Today begins the first day of the Christian New Year:   Advent!   Sadly all too many folks  have focused the locus of their focus on stuff that misses the point entirely.   Advent=Coming! Christ Jesus Has Come! Christ Jesus Came to take away the sins of the world! Christ Jesus Came to take away your sins! Christ Jesus Came So You Will NOT Be Condemned For Your Sins! THIS IS GOOD NEWS! Christ Jesus Want's To Come Into Relationship With You! He Comes To Give You New and Eternal Life! He Comes Establishing A New Covenant With You! He Comes Conquering Hell Death And The Grave! He Comes So You Too Will Conquer Hell, Death And The Grave! Whether or Not You Do So Is Determined By You Letting Him Into Your Life as LORD of Your Life! Christ Jesus Will Come AGAIN!
