The Best Choice You Will Ever Make

"Seek ye first the Kingdom of God, and all these things will be added to you." Matthew 6:33 Life is full of choices, and these choices can affect each one - and our loved ones - spiritually, emotionally, relationally, financially and physically. Jesus cares about our choices, and he cares about the end result -- or the "harvest" -- we reap as a result of those choices. As we make our life plan, the best choice to make is the one that involves the choice of either putting the Kingdom of God first or not. According to the ancient wisdom of our life verse, today, there is ONLY one choice to make. Seek, FIRST, the Kingdom of God! Why?  The answer is simple: Everything else will fall into place; therefore, putting God first, each day, is the best decision you or I could ever make. SoJourner

What Do You Do When Your Doctor Says You Have Outlived Your Life Expectancy

      A Not Surprising Comment       I know the title of this blog, today, may sound a bit strange; however, it represents something that was actually told to me just a short while ago.  I recently had another issue with my heart.  So, I was in with my Cardiologist, and he was attempting to work out appropriate protocols for my medical care.  He was looking at my record, and he looked back at me.  As a matter of fact, he did this multiple times, and then he said, "You do know you should not be here.  You are a walking miracle! People who have had all the things happen to their heart, like have had happen to you, usually live only 5 years."Then we talked about expected longevity:  He said, in informing me how much longer he thought I could expect to be here on planet earth, he pointed to the floor, he looked into my eyes, and he said, "You have today!"  I smiled, and I said to him, "Doc you are not the first one to ever tell me this."
