A Christ Follower: The Journey

Faith is the absolute CERTAINTY  of EVERYTHING (we hope for in Christ) , and it is the PROOF  of all the things God has promised that we cannot see :0} Check out Hebrews 11 & abide with it for a while.  You will see what I mean.    {:o} Be Blessed Today!    Especially 2 day!   For it is the ONLY day which you have been given as a gift.  So live it to the fullest as God intended. The LORD is MY  Shepherd... Psalm 23:1a Oh my goodness!  Have you ever considered just how much God (As in THE CREATOR AND SUSTAINER OF ALL THINGS) wants to be intimate with you?  Check it out: The LORD is MY shepherd. I shall not want. He makes  ME to lie down in green pastures. He leads ME besides the still waters. He restores MY soul. He leads ME in the paths of righteousness for His name sake. Yes! Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death I will fear no evil. For YOU are with ME. YOUR rod and YOUR staff they comfort ME . YOU prepare  a table for ME in the presence of MY enemies. You anoint MY head with oil. MY cup runs over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow ME all the days of my life. And I shall dwell in the house of the LORD forever. HMMM? Do you see a pattern here?  :o) How many times is God saying "Let's get personal?" The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, long suffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, yieldedness to God (Meekness), and self control. (Galatians 5:22-23) It always amazes me that God wants to have such a positive impact on our lives.  He miraculously accomplishes a transformation that includes all the good mentioned in Galatians 5:22-23. (Check it out in blue above.)   The question is "How?" How does God accomplish this miracle? He does this when I turn over my wrong way living (SIN)  to God's Son (Jesus) and ask Jesus to be "the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world," FOR ME. I turn from being INDEPENDENT of God to being DEPENDENT on God for true life.   Then the MIRACLE begins:  Because this transformation is identified as "fruit of the Spirit," it does not necessarily occur all at once.  Like fruit it takes time. As I DAILY trust the LORD & yield to the LORD (Did I say DAILY? YUP! I said d-a-i-l-y,), God's Spirit works t

Just as I am without one plea... but that Thy blood was shed for me.  And that Thou bidst me "come" to Thee.. O Lamb of GOD... I come.  I come." A great way to be empowered for the day is to take this day as your very own special day and surrender this day to the one who created it for creation and you. WOW! God is inviting you to "come" and experience HIS wonderful Spirit, Salvation and enjoy HIS presence ;o) As the old commercial use to say:  "Just Do It!"  And when you do, you will see just how empowering it can be. Trust in the LORD with ALL your heart.  Don't rest on your own perspective for evaluating the journey. In ALL your ways seek GOD's leadership, guidance and or direction.  He will put you on (and keep you on) the perfect course. THEN....HANG ON! You are very likely to be surprised where HE takes you.
