GETTING INTIMATE WITH GOD:O)

The LORD is MY Shepherd... Psalm 23:1a

Oh my goodness!  Have you ever considered just how much God (As in THE CREATOR AND SUSTAINER OF ALL THINGS) wants to be intimate with you?  Check it out:

The LORD is MY shepherd.

I shall not want.

He makes ME to lie down in green pastures.

He leads ME besides the still waters.

He restores MY soul.

He leads ME in the paths of righteousness for His name sake.

Yes! Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death I will fear no evil.

For YOU are with ME.

YOUR rod and YOUR staff they comfort ME.

YOU prepare  a table for ME in the presence of MY enemies.

You anoint MY head with oil.

MY cup runs over.

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow ME all the days of my life.

And I shall dwell in the house of the LORD forever.

HMMM? Do you see a pattern here?  :o) How many times is God saying "Let's get personal?"

Why not try out this meditation and be blessed:
  •  Go back and count how many times the personal pronoun is highlighted in red.  
  • How many did you count?  
  • Are you sure you counted right? Check it out one more time  just  to be sure :o) :o) :o)
  • Now go back and  re-read this psalm  s l o w l y   by replacing the red words with your name! 
  •  Now do it slowly as you sit still with each verse for just a second or two.  
  • Practice this spiritual reflection when you get up, while you are eating breakfast, lunch and dinner, and practice it before you go to bed tonight.  You might be surprised what will happen.
Actually God IS saying "I AM (no pun intended)  personal with Y-O-U.  So let it be that you are personal with ME!"

Don't believe the lie that God is not close to you or that HE does not wish to be close to you.  Believe completely that HE is closer than your next breath.  So breathe in slowly that breath of life God  gives to make y-o-u  a living soul.  And read this love letter to y-o-u from your best friend and beloved Shepherd ... GOD.  Then ... 

Be Blessed 2 day... especially 2 day.  It is the only one y-o- u are guaranteed to start walking in :o}

We Can Be So Much More.

   We Can Be So Much More:  Let us learn about the powerful identity God the Father gives us, through our being IN Christ Jesus by the power of The Holy Spirit. Let us embrace our God given Eternal Inheritance.  ( Ephesians 1:3-14)  Let us get up, each morning and give ourselves up to God. (Romans 12:1-2.)  Let us wake up! And practice Gods practice of putting off the deeds of darkness, of being empowered to behave decently, like people who live in the day time. (Romans 13:11-14) Let us cloth our selves, in Jesus, by putting on the full armor of God each day! This will make us strong in the Lord and in His mighty power, and it will give us all we need to stand against the Devil's schemes. (Ephesians 6:10-20) Let us submit to God, and resist the Devil so he will have to flee from us. (James 4:7) Learn all we can about the enemy and know he has no authority over us. They come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves!  By their fruits you shall recognize them!  Do people pick grapes from thorn bushes or figs from thistles? Likewise, every good tree bears good fruit, and every bad tree bears bad fruit. A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, and a bad tree cannot bear good fruit. Every tree that does NOT bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Thus by their fruit you will recognize them. Not everyone who says to me 'Lord, Lord' will enter the Kingdom of Heaven, but ONLY those who do the will of my Father in Heaven.
