The eye is the lamp of the body. If your eyes are healthy, your body will be full of light. Or if your eyes are unhealthy, your whole body will be filled with darkness. If then, the light within you is darkness, how great is that darkness. Matthew 6:22-23 Adam and Eve Adam and Eve, our ultimate ancestors, had the perfect relationship with God. They could see all things clearly. They could see the Kingdom of God, and they even walked with God, "in the cool of the morning." Their vision was healthy. Or as the Hebrew could be translated another way, their vision was holy. Their spirit's were alive, and their spirit -- the part of them that truly enabled them to experience, or see God with the light of God, was 20/20. Their vision was perfect. Their lives, because of what they truly saw, was full of life and light; however, when they decided to be "gods" themselves, and they ignored God's teaching, darkness took them over.
