Even the young people will faint and grow weary. The young men will stumble and fall. BUT... They who wait on the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar like an eagle does up through and above the storms. The will run and not grow weary. They will walk and will not faint. Many people really have no idea just how Almighty, Eternal, Untiringly Empowered, Creative and Sustaining God Is. We cannot fathom the depths of His wisdom, knowledge and understanding. How God Expects Christ Followers To Be When Relating To Those Whom Are Empowered To Govern. But What About Living Under "Bad Leadership? Then How Are We To Respond? The Christian Church Has Had To Grapple With This For Centuries. SoJourner

Love And Forgive Anyway The Bible is clear about love and forgiveness. It teaches us " Beloved let us love one another. For love comes from God, and everyone who loves knows God. He who does not practice love does not know God at all.  For God IS love."   (1 John 4:7 & 8) Regarding forgiveness, the Lord teaches we are to forgive seventy times seven, if someone sins against us and repents. (Matthew 18:21-23.) Indeed, we are to forgive each of those times. In another place we see where one servant was forgiven an enormous debt, but he refused to forgive a very small debt, and he suffered dearly for it, when he had to meet the "Ultimate Judge." (Matthew 18:23-35.)  Many pray weekly, "forgive us our sins as we forgive others their sins against us."   To be sure the word "sins" is the same as the word "trespasses" or "debts" used in older language. Either way, this prayer request is indeed in keeping with seeking God'

I am thinking about how to help people become 2 Timothy 2:2 people. Now you may ask, what is a 2 Timothy 2:2 person? Well, I am glad you ask. Here is how Paul spells it out: A nd the things that you have heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit to faithful people, who shall be able to teach others also. This is mentoring at it's best. It's disciple making. It is teaching others who are teachable. It is teaching others -- who are faithful -- to apply what is taught, and because, as I said, they are faithful and teachable, the will take the next step and teach others. The problem is that such Christ Followers are hard to find... hard to find indeed.
