Great Prophetic Utterance For Each Day You Live
DO YOU NOT KNOW?
Isaiah 40:28-31
Do you not know?
Have you not heard?
The Lord is the everlasting God,
The Creator of the ends of the Earth.
He will not grow tired or weary,
And no one can fathom His understanding.
He gives power to those who faint.
To those who have no might, He increases their strength.
Even the young people will faint and grow weary.
The young men will stumble and fall.
BUT...
They who wait on the Lord will renew their strength.
They will soar like an eagle does up through and above the storms.
The will run and not grow weary.
They will walk and will not faint.
Many people really have no idea just how Almighty, Eternal, Untiringly Empowered, Creative and Sustaining God Is. We cannot fathom the depths of His wisdom, knowledge and understanding. In a word, we make God to small.
Many don't even realize that God cares about the strength we have to live through each day, even though God, through Christ, is the one who gives freely -- to His children -- power, might, strength, the ability overcome being bone tired and weary to the point of falling.
I suspect all this because I know God has clearly stated how we can tap into His eternalness and accomplish things beyond anything we could have ever imagined. He simply says to "wait" on Him. If we wait on God, He will indeed renew our strength. We will even feel the power to get up and fly through our challenges. IF we wait on Him, and we run our race of life, we will not grow weary running this race. Or if we are walking, after waiting, we will not miss reaching the end of each of our journey's.
What is waiting? Waiting is being still, and listening just like waiting on anyone else, except we are waiting on our God. Waiting is spending moments in God's Holy Word, as we wait. It is waiting in prayer. It is waiting (like waiting on tables in a restaurant) on others in service and fellowship. Finally, it is waiting for the opportunities to witness and shine, as the light of the world. It's God's way of giving you the stuff to be enough.
How are you feeling today: Are You Tired? Are You Weak? Do you feel like you might stumble and fall? Do you need to renew your strength? Think about what God wants to do in you, and through you, and then abide with Him, as you wait. God will do the rest, through His Son Jesus by the power of His Holy Spirit.
Practice what I am preaching here today, and be blessed.
