Perfect Peace
The Lord will keep in perfect peace the mind of the person who is consistently focused on HIM. Isaiah 26:3 What are you thinking about? Problems? Liabilities? weaknesses? struggles, etc.? If you are, there is a good chance that such a focus will result in anxiety, doubt and even fear. Ever so often I have a bout with "stinking thinking" like this, but I have learned to daily get dressed and put on the Lord Jesus first thing in the morning... I mean right about the time my eyes open. How do you do this "putting on the Lord." Paul says in Romans 13:14 that we do this by putting on God's armor. This is described in Ephesians 6:10-20. And in this passage, it is promised that you become "Strong in the Lord and His almighty power" when you armor up. It is also promised that you are able to stand against the Devils schemes.
