Where Do We Get The Stuff To Be Enough
I am the vine. You are the branches. Apart from Me you can do nothing. Jesus The Divine Essence that gives us life and a sense of God's presence does NOT come because we are the "Vine." Yet it never ceases to amaze me how people treat God, spirituality or religion as if such reality is some form of appendage to their bodies... as in arms or legs. Yet nothing could be further from the truth. We can no more make God... well -- God, than a branch can produce a vine. We cannot create a God to save us, strengthen us, encourage us, empower us and give us victory over the darkness, calamities or cares of life any more than a light bulb can light a room without connection to its power source. Brother Paul, formerly called Saul, expresses this relationship of Christ Followers to the Creator: "In HIM we live and move and breathe and have our being." Did you get that?
