Where Do We Get The Stuff To Be Enough

I am the vine.  You are the branches.
Apart from Me you can do nothing.

The Divine Essence that gives us life and a sense of God's presence does NOT come because we are the "Vine." Yet it never ceases to amaze me how people treat God, spirituality or religion as if such reality is  some form of appendage to their bodies... as in arms or legs. 

Yet nothing could be further from the truth.  We can no more make God... well -- God, than a branch can produce a vine. We cannot create a God to save us, strengthen us, encourage us, empower us and give us victory over the darkness, calamities or cares of life any more than a light bulb can light a room without connection to its power source.

Brother Paul, formerly called Saul, expresses this relationship of Christ Followers to the Creator:  "In HIM we live and move and breathe and have our being."  Did you get that?  We don't live without the LORD.  We don't move without the LORD.  We don't breathe without the LORD. We don't "BE" without the LORD.

So we get the "Stuff to BE enough" when we surrender all that we have, all that we are, all that we are experiencing (good or bad), and ALL that we hope to be to the ONE who has "The Whole World In His Hands." (The whole Universe for that matter.)...including "you and me brother... you and me sister."

The key to success is simply to decide "I cannot live independent of my Creator."  I need to turn from my law breaking to a Divine nature Partaking, through Jesus who IS Christ... about which Peter spoke.  Then let go and let God. Let God's Divine essence flow through the "Vine" Jesus into the branch ... you.  Yield your victories, defeats, fears, faith, joys, sorrows and day... AND your only guaranteed eternal and everlasting  future  (which is through the Vine, Jesus.)

Or you could choose to be an independent thinker, where you are the god of your own destiny and a shriveled branch not on the "Vine." This is the ultimate in "stinkin thinkin."

So, you can choose life or death.  Come on... choose life: Begin by playing one of the Video clips at the top of this blog.  Play it.  Pray it. Find the life you need.  Find the ability to move in the right direction.  Find the breathing room you need to make good choices. Find the power to FULLY "BE."

We Can Be So Much More.

   We Can Be So Much More:  Let us learn about the powerful identity God the Father gives us, through our being IN Christ Jesus by the power of The Holy Spirit. Let us embrace our God given Eternal Inheritance.  ( Ephesians 1:3-14)  Let us get up, each morning and give ourselves up to God. (Romans 12:1-2.)  Let us wake up! And practice Gods practice of putting off the deeds of darkness, of being empowered to behave decently, like people who live in the day time. (Romans 13:11-14) Let us cloth our selves, in Jesus, by putting on the full armor of God each day! This will make us strong in the Lord and in His mighty power, and it will give us all we need to stand against the Devil's schemes. (Ephesians 6:10-20) Let us submit to God, and resist the Devil so he will have to flee from us. (James 4:7) Learn all we can about the enemy and know he has no authority over us. Likewise, every good tree bears good fruit, and every bad tree bears bad fruit. A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, and a bad tree cannot bear good fruit. Every tree that does NOT bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Thus by their fruit you will recognize them.
