SHAKE A LITTLE SALT

You are the salt of the earth. Jesus        There are all kind of ways that Jesus describes Christ-Followers, and maybe sometime we will look at them; however, one of my favorite descriptions is this one.  He identifies us as "The Salt of The Earth."  The key to being salt is that we ensure, we allow Jesus to keep us savory.  This means we are sure we intentionally interact with him as he, by the Holy Spirit, writes his laws on our hearts and places them in our minds. So it means we allow him to transform us into what he expects us to be.      Then we have a job to do:  We are to put savor in the lives of those around us whose lives may not be filled with the wonderful savor of knowing God.   We don't need to throw so much salt on them that they are overwhelmed.  Nor are we to withhold the seasoning of God, as needed.  We are to let go and let God transform us and guide us, as  we interact with the world. We are to be quiet with him, and we are to spend time alo
