If you accept God's word      and store up  God's commands within you, 2  turning your ear to wisdom      and applying your heart to understanding — 3  indeed, if you call out for insight      and cry aloud for understanding, 4  and if you look for it as for silver      and search for it as for hidden treasure, 5  then you will understand the fear of the Lord      and find the knowledge of God. As I see all the craziness going on in our culture, and as I have gotten older, I wonder as I write, "Can God REALLY Bless America?"  If reaping what you sow or "Karma" mean anything, I have my doubts: Let me explain.  When our country first began, we heard words like, "We are endowed by our Creator..."  Or we think about how our first President, after being sworn in,  walked to St. Paul's Church and helped lead a prayer meeting (of all things) where others and he prayed for an hour or more that God would indeed bless the fledgling nation he was about to lead. This is a far cry from our present day situation where, in our last election, one of our political parties had to fight over whether or not to even use the word "God" in their platforms "planks."  I don't think God will bless that in which God's very existence is placed in question by our leaders.  But don't stop reading yet.
