Answering this question, for yourself, will change your life, “IF” you let it happen, and “IF” you deny yourself, and you are willing to leave the world, the flesh and the devil behind. “IF” you are willing to turn from your law breaking, of habitually breaking God’s liberating limits -- God’s Ten Commandments -- which you cannot keep on your own. Indeed!   phenomenal things will happen for you, and to you, “IF” you “take up the Cross and follow Jesus.” Taking up the Cross, and following Jesus requires the turning away from all the things previously discussed. It presupposes letting go of being in charge of your life, and it involves letting God be involved in your life, as you surrender your life to God through Jesus His Son, by the power of the Holy Spirit.  On October 26th, I began this journey regarding "What Does It Mean?"  Please go back and review Part One before reading this on in order to be fully aware of God's vital truth for Christ Followers. What Does It Means: Part Two? “Let him deny himself” Letting Self Denial Happen “If” we want to be Jesus’ Disciple, He begins by saying we are to be men and women who Let something happen: We let self-denial happen. In other words, we choose to deny ourselves. What does it mean to deny ourselves? Denying ourselves means to turn from the ways of the world the flesh and the devil -- or the ways that let me run my life apart from the Lord and His ways -- and we let the Lord run our lives.   It’s key to let it happen. If we don’t make the choice to let it happen, then God’s transforming power, and His grace cannot be involved.
