Addressing Shaming Thoughts Spiritually

Chances are shaming thoughts are things predicated on breaking God's law, and they are temptations NOT sin. Yet the evil one shames us into believing these are our thoughts and they are sinful. (He tried to do this with JESUS and JESUS never sinned.) These thoughts are neither our thoughts nor are they sinful. They are simply thoughts; however, this spiritual trick of the world, the flesh and the devil sets us up to belittle ourselves and hinders us from taking healthy freedom steps that will help us: Once we identify these satanic thoughts, we can (as the Apostle Paul says) "bring them into captivity"bind them..CAST THEM OUT, replace them with healthy/holy scriptural freeing thoughts. And then we can be FREE instead of being deceived, ashamed and defeated. Be Blessed 2day. SoJourner

Unlike God, whose thoughts who are quite beyond our thoughts because or their superiority, and they are not ours until we incorperate them through reading, meditation and reflection; Satan's thoughts are intrusive and they are shaming. We feel the shame because we do no realize that the thoughts do NOT originate with us, as in the time when Satan tempted Jesus in the wilderness. Jesus did not shame himself for thinking the thoughts. He simply addressed the satanic thoughts appropriately. Be Blessed 2day SoJourner

Well, Easter day is over, but the power of true living (not just existing) is still alive. It enlightens our lives because we are IN Christ. Along with all this, HE is IN US because we have life through Jesus in whom we put our trust. You gotta trust something or someone so why not choose life? Why not choose JESUS who is THE Way THE Truth and THE Life? HAPPY EASTER Y'ALL. And have a good night. SoJourner
