VICTORS IN CHRIST TEACHING OTHERS SPIRITUAL RESILIENCY


As I sit here at my computer, I am thinking about one passion that is mine. I am thinking about how to help people become 2 Timothy 2:2 people. Now you may ask, what is a 2 Timothy 2:2 person? Well, I am glad you ask. Here is how Paul spells it out:

And the things that you have heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit to faithful people, who shall be able to teach others also.

This is mentoring at it's best. It's disciple making. It is teaching others who are teachable. It is teaching others -- who are faithful -- to apply what is taught, and because, as I said, they are faithful and teachable, the will take the next step and teach others. The problem is that such Christ Followers are hard to find... hard to find indeed.

Here is an example of what I am talking about: Recently I contacted a significant number of men asking if they would be willing to become V.I.C.T.O.R.S. Out of that huge group, only ONE, said he was willing to learn how to become victorious in his walk so that he could multiply himself and help others become V.I.C.T.O.R.S. -- Victors In Christ Teaching Others Spiritual Resiliency. So, you get what I am saying. Right?

The first six weeks of this training involve successfully completing "Basic Training For The Saints." It requires helping each one become centered on Christ Jesus by getting their identity right, and this would balance each one's journey. Then it involves empowering each to be effective prayer holy nation priests of God. It involves teaching each how to grasp God's Word to cause the Word of God to come alive in them. It involves helping each to become a part of authentic Bible fellowship. Finally it helps each sojourner an effective witness where each actually uses God's powerful life changing Word.

Therefore, today I am praying, as I have in days gone by, for God to make me his faithful man who equips other faithful people to equip other people to be faithful in Christ. Just inspiring a handful of people to become V.I.C.T.O.R. S. like this will literally make all the difference in the world.

We Can Be So Much More.

   We Can Be So Much More:  Let us learn about the powerful identity God the Father gives us, through our being IN Christ Jesus by the power of The Holy Spirit. Let us embrace our God given Eternal Inheritance.  ( Ephesians 1:3-14)  Let us get up, each morning and give ourselves up to God. (Romans 12:1-2.)  Let us wake up! And practice Gods practice of putting off the deeds of darkness, of being empowered to behave decently, like people who live in the day time. (Romans 13:11-14) Let us cloth our selves, in Jesus, by putting on the full armor of God each day! This will make us strong in the Lord and in His mighty power, and it will give us all we need to stand against the Devil's schemes. (Ephesians 6:10-20) Let us submit to God, and resist the Devil so he will have to flee from us. (James 4:7) Learn all we can about the enemy and know he has no authority over us.   Jesus Rock Solid Teaching Regarding Picking Leaders Matthew 7:15-23      "Watch out for false prophets! They come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves!  By their fruits you shall recognize them!  Do people pick grapes from thorn bushes or figs from thistles? Likewise, every good tree bears good fruit, and every bad tree bears bad fruit. A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, and a bad tree cannot bear good fruit. Every tree that does NOT bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Thus by their fruit you will recognize them. Not everyone who says to me 'Lord, Lord' will enter the Kingdom of Heaven, but ONLY those who do the will of my Father in Heaven. Many will say to me on the day they give account of their lives, 'Lord, Lord' did we not prophesy in your name, and in you name drive out demons, and in your name perform many miracles?  Then I will tell them plainly, ' I never knew you!
