  1 Peter 5:7 Cast all your cares on Him because He cares about you.      All to often people find life catches them in a storm: Spiritual attack, emotional struggles, relationships that are cracking, financial floods or some kind of physical illness, like a hurricane, tornado or water spout up end the individuals life. It all becomes way too much.  Many say that 2020 is filled with such challenges, and I don't think it would be too difficult to prove what they are saying. As a matter of fact, it would be quite easy. We have had a whole lot happen this year.        Therefore, I have tried to encourage people: I want to do so now. You see, there is nothing that has happened to you in 2020, or any other time,  that God did not already know about. God told us there would be times like this. His prophecies are clear.  God knows you. God knows your name. God knows what you are going through, and if you cry out "Lord Help ME," And if you ...

One is to believe what isn't true ; the other is to refuse to believe what is true.” Soren Kierkegaard I have seen Soren Kierkegaard's above utterance up close and personal lately. It's maddening to see deception -- or willful ignorance -- in action; however, the Lord Jesus did tell us that even some of " the very elect " would be deceived. I can imagine it broke Jesus' heart to say these words of truth. Thankfully, God is in control. Sadly, those giving in to deception just might find themselves being in attendance in what is described in Matthew 7:21-23. This is the passage where pseudo believers find themselves rejected in the worse kind of way.   Matthew 13:1-9;18-23 Finding R.E.S.T In the scripture above, Jesus is talking about something that is vital to you and me walking on stepping stones for   victorious Christ Centered Living . Indeed, He is teaching us about how we can truly R.E.S.T. as we journey with Himself … or not. That is, He is talking about how we can experience  R ock-solid  E ternal  S pirituality  T oday. When you do, you will discover that Jesus gives you great wisdom and understanding regarding actually being able to hear the Word of God … or not. As you search this scripture, you will learn that their are four groups of people that react to God’s Word. Three out of four miss out on actually being productive listeners.   You shall keep the commandments of the Lord your God,  to walk in His ways and to revere Him. Deuteronomy 8:6 Occasionally, we ask God, "Hey Lord! Will you do me a favor? Will you give me a sign? And He does so, graciously, from time to time; however, it seems to me that it's far better to prove ourselves to God Almighty rather than to push Him for the reverse to happen.  Think about this: We are the ones who will give account for our lives. (Romans 14:12)  We are the ones He has saved from bondage to sin and death. Hey Y'all, A Couple of Questions I have a couple of  questions I would like to ask:  First, should everyone be welcome to worship in the Church of Jesus? Is there anyone who should be excluded because they have a lifestyle that is displeasing to God?  Yes?  No? A Quick But Absolutely Correct Answer For me the answer to each question can be given in a very few words: Everyone should feel free to come into a Church to find the Lord Jesus as their Savior. Everyone should feel free to pray, praise and come to worship! One reason is that, a s we are there, among God's People, this is the best place to find forgiveness. Secondly, it's the best place, for all of us, to turn from the kind of lives that causes us to be enslaved to those sins that keep us lost, and they keep us in Bondage to sin and death. (John 8:34.)
