Never Alone

I Will Pray To The Father And HE Will Give You Another Comforter. He Will Abide With You Forever. Jesus      Sometimes, people feel alone or are  lonely even when in a crowd.  It could be because it is just their way of living through the journey.  It could be that it's "how they roll." They may have grown up in less than a functional family or situation.  So the survivor in them taught them to isolate. Which is not the same as to practice solitude; yet all to often loneliness can surprise you.  It can sneak up on you.  You can have loved ones all around, and you might even be in a crowd, but a darkness can envelop you.        Jesus gives you hope in situations like this.  Practicing being lonely for survival or being lonely by surprise, usually results in us focusing on the darkness, the feeling bad and we then might just put ourselves down for feeling as such.  Keep in mind, if this happens, that fe...

We Need A Stronger Foundation SOON!

First let me say, I am so grateful that my hope is built on nothing less than Jesus blood and righteousness.  I celebrate that it is on "Christ The SOLID ROCK I Stand! All other ground is sinking sand.  All other ground is sinking sand."At the same time, I look around me and I see people deciding that whatever they conjure up in their own minds to be morally right, well,  that is what is right or "truth to them."  And so we have been moving in that direction for decades, and our nation has been declining daily as a result. The western civilization is doing the same.      Therefore, I am doing all I can to shout out the word of the site I place here:  https://www.createspace.com/5578028  ; yes, I know it's the book thing AGAIN!  But if you will take time to get it on Kindle or Paperback, it will be more than well worth your time.  If you, or someone you have lended it to has read it, go to amazon.com...

IN NEED OF YOUR PRAYERS

Trust in the Lord with all  your heart. Don't put the weight of your faith  on your five senses. In everything and in every way  Seek God's wisdom, knowledge, understanding and discernment. Then He will guide you along your journey. The Wisdom Writer: Solomon From Proverbs 3:5-6      There are not too many of us, who are genuinely Christ Followers, that can go through the day with out the Almighty serving as our journey guide.  Sooner or later we need to make choices that are far better, if we seek first God's Kingdom and His righteousness. Now if we do not need to know His will, then we are living independent of God.  And we are not demonstrating any kind of "fruit" that shows that we are indeed truly Christ Followers. Being a Christ Follower is defined as a person denying one's self taking up the Cross and following Him. So we do need Him to show the way each day, and we need God's people to pray.      In...

The Rock and The Storm

Save Me Lord! Peter --Aka --The Rock Jesus was doing the kind of things that were normal for Jesus to do, as He walked on the water without disturbing the fish.  The disciples, including Peter, were in a boat and it appeared to be a bit stormy.  BUT they were very safe in the boat.  Something certainly got into Peter, and he wanted to be like Jesus.  He wanted to walk on the water.  So, he decided to ask Jesus, "May I come out there and walk on the water with you?"  Or he said something to that effect. Jesus said, "Sure, come on out here."  And Peter did just that. Keep in mind, while Peter was in the boat, it was bouncing around like a B-B in a box car. Not only that, but the waves were REALLY HIGH! The Darkness was very real, and he could have easily been frightened in that pitchy little boat bobbing around like a cork in the water. In other words, it seemed to be a stormy event taking place. Still Peter stepped out in the water, and sure e...

Refuge VI: Powerful Stillness

"Be Still And Know That I Am God." David --Psalm 46:10       Sometimes life comes at you too fast! You hurry and you go! You get faster and faster and faster!  Where you stop nobody knows! The pressure can be so much that you are churning from the outside into the inside out.  You can not catch up, and you could just scream and shout! Spiritual problems, emotional problems, relational problems, financial problems and physical problems may come at you quickly one at a time or all at once. Life, as it did with David, literally begins to shake rattle and roll. You can't eat. Or you eat too much.  Your stomach is in knots.  The anxiety builds and the tears flow.  A sense of being abandoned and lost may not seem to be ever going to let you go. It can be  downright overwhelming, and you just want to roar "STOP!"       This is how it was with David as he wrote the words I have shared in this blog.  Now he comes to a ...

REFUGE V: VIEWING GOD IN ACTION

"Come and see what the Lord has done." David -- Psalm 46: 7       David enjoyed God's refuge because He genuinely paid attention to what God was doing as he faced the obstacles of his life:  He fought and won some hard fought battles.  He even literally took on his own giant in the form of Goliath.  He defeated him as well.   He paid attention to what the Lord had done in his life, and it built his faith. You may or may not remember how that, while much stronger men were shaking in their sandals, David told everyone he could defeat the huge Philistine. But this small man had to convince the King named Saul -- who by the way stood head and shoulders over David -- that he was up for the task.  In doing so, David told Saul about how he had taken on wild animals to protect his sheep.  He informed Saul that just as God had delivered these beast of prey into his hands, that God would do the same for him in his battle against the giant.  ...

REFUGE IV: God Is All Around

The Lord Almighty Is With Us! David -- Psalm 46:7      David is was a Warrior turned King.  He had fought in hand to hand combat with beasts and with blood thirsty human animals.  He was a man who could identify with our modern military person who has seen some of the worst of people can do to people.  There were times he was drowned in boredom, and their were other times abject terror took him over.  Yet, he was an exceptional warrior because, in the midst of the boredom and terror, he was a man of faith.  He simply made a choice to believe one very important truth that helped him find peace.  He fully believed the life giving truth that the LORD ALMIGHTY was with his people and with him.  So, this faith gave him courage, one day at a time.       Centuries later, God demonstrated this vital truth to us through a little baby.  His Hebrew name was/is Yeshua.  We know Him as Jesus. He was also give...
