Paul was writing to Timothy, and in 2 Timothy 3:15-17, and he gave Brother Timothy some important information about The Word of God. Let me encourage you to read it. And when you do, you will learn Seven vital things the Word of God does in you, and these are: The Word makes you wise in salvation ways. It is breathed out by God. Or it inspires you. It is profitable. It teaches you what God wants you to know, be and do. It teaches you what God wants you to stop. It corrects your course of life It instructs you in right way living to equip you to do God's work. Therefore, wisdom teaches that when we read, hear, study, meditate and memorize the Word of God, if we really want to hear God, through His Son, Jesus, by the power of The Holy Spirit, we would do well to ask ...  What is the wisdom that God is wanting me to apply from this Word. Hurricanes: Getting A Reputation Matthew 8:23-27 I am a man who sincerely believes God still rules the winds and the waves, even in Hurricane Season; therefore, as they start coming our way, I start praying. In the 2004 hurricane season, I did not do so, and we were soaked badly with 4 Hurricanes: They are named Ivan, Charley, Jeanne and Frances. I simply said,  “I don’t feel like praying about this.”    BIG Mistake!   I have learned my lesson! Last year, when we were threatened by a particular hurricane, I produced videos teaching people how to pray during a hurricane. Many people were amazed how God responded, and the hurricane responded, to the way people sincerely prayed. This week, I prayed a few brief prayers regarding Isaias, and it has responded to the very hand of God. “A Problem Free Life?”       If any of you have followed my Facebook posts, you will know that I keep sharing about all the miracles Vicki and I have had happen, and still do  have happen, in our lives. It occured to me that some may think we have a problem free life.  Actually, nothing could be further from the truth. Each miracle, that I shared with you all, occurs when we might be having a crisis occurring in our lives; otherwise, why would we need a miracle? I don’t know about you, but experiencing a crisis is really NOT a lot of fun. Blinded By A Rock For example, when I was blinded by a rock, coming out from my lawn mower, We were told by the Opthamologist, at the Eye Foundation, to be grateful I have one good eye. Take a moment to think about how you would feel if you lost your eyesight, in one of your eyes, and you were told this. Consider the pain felt in that eye continually reminding me. If you have been blinded, and God gave you back sight, you are a walking miracle. If your wife and you were told you could not have children, but in answer to prayer, He gave you 3 children and 6 grandchildren, you are a walking miracle. If you left this life, for a while and came back again, you are a walking miracle. This miracle leaves you craving Heaven,, makes you a walking miracle. If you busted your back up, and were even partially paralyzed, and can function in athletic ways, you are a walking miracle. Of course I cooperated with God via diet and exercise. If your life expectancy was set at 5 years, long before being 70, but have lived 22 years, you are a walking miracle. If you are told you are only guaranteed to only have today, due to medical conditions, and you live each day living life completely full, you are a walking miracle. I Have Come To Testify! There is something I have come to believe: I am a walking miracle. I am a walking miracle means, given what my Doctors say, I should not be here, but I should be on the other side. The bigger miracle is, when I think about moving on, a deep peace takes me over. Knowing Jesus does this to me! So, why not live life to the fullest while residing here? I guess that's why some people, whose words clearly demonstrate a fear of dying, like to remind me I need to "take the virus more seriously." I take it VERY seriously. And I follow all healthy protocols. But I want all y'all to know the Eternal Life Joy that can be experienced. Christ Follower, don't let what is happening around us fill you with fear. Turn all the bad news into a purpose filled habit of continual prayer, in Jesus Name. God's interaction with you will bless your socks off! SoJourner

Complicating Prayer Sometimes we make praying more complicated than it needs to be; for example, when "Blind Bartimaeus" heard Jesus was coming by, he saw a golden opportunity to receive his eyesight. He kept it all simple, as in "Keep It Simple Saint." He simply cried out to Jesus until he got Jesus attention. Then Jesus asked him a very important question: "What do you want me to do for you?"  Bart very plainly said, "I want to see."  Guess what? In a very short while he did just that. He received his sight. When you don't know what to pray, sometimes, effective praying simply means you need to decide to tell the Lord what you want.  You don't have to wax poetic. Your words don't have to be regal, royal or sound as if you are more righteous than are others.  Why? Because God simply wants to hear from you, as His Christ Follower child, what you want.  Keep your praying simple saint, and be sincere. Pray by faith expecti...
