The Ultimate Terrorist #2

The Ultimate Terrorist #2        The scriptures clearly reveal who is the Ultimate Terrorist.  It is very clear the source behind the power of evil that is the epitome of evil; and it seems his character is one that is shady at best and the darkness of darkness at worse. Here is something John says about him:   The thief comes for the purpose of stealing, killing and destroying ... John 10:10a       From the very beginnings of the biblical account of the second creation -or 7 day creation- these 3 trademark character traits have been stamped indelibly on the pages of Ancient Wisdom's holy writ: Consider that he stole the blessings of the first family by trickery and deceit.  On the day that our ancient ancestors decided to believe him, as God tried to warn them, they died.  He got them to sin, and so their spirits died.  Their bodies later followed.  Because they chose to disbelieve God (b...

THE ULTIMATE TERRORIST

The Ultimate Terrorist      ISIS, Al-Qaida, Hezbollah and other terrorists are spreading throughout the world in the name of their God "Allah."  They are bombing, brutalizing, stealing,  torturing, terrorizing, murdering, mutilating, molesting,  beheading and accomplishing all kinds of heinous activity so they can get to their heaven.  They sound a whole lot like someone else I know.  Listens to how Jesus, The Son of God,  describes such people as these:   You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father’s desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth , for there is no truth in him . When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies. Jesus: John 8:44   The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy ; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full Jesus: John 10:10    ...

Hebrew of the Hebrews 3: Big Brother Yeshua

Hebrew of the Hebrews 3:   Big Brother Yeshua 7 Things He Did For You And Me. Hebrews 2:14-18      14 . Since the children have flesh and blood, He too shared in their humanity so that by His death He might destroy Him who holds the power of death—that is, the devil— 15 and free those who all their lives were held in slavery by their fear of death. 16 For surely it is not angels He helps, but Abraham’s descendants. 17 For this reason He had to be made like His brothers in every way, in order that He might become a merciful and faithful high priest in service to God, and that He might make atonement for the sins of the people. 18 Because He Himself suffered when He was tempted, He is able to help those who are being tempted.       People like to talk about the Top 10 of This or The Top Ten of That… or whatever; however, many times God usually speaks of things in Sevens.   Here are some examples:   After six ...

You Called God a What?

1 John 5:10-13 New International Version (NIV ) 10  Whoever believes in the Son of God accepts this testimony. Whoever does not believe God has made him out to be a liar, because they have not believed the testimony God has given about his Son. 11  And this is the testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. 12  Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life. 13  I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life.                                                             ...

SHAKE A LITTLE SALT

You are the salt of the earth. Jesus        There are all kind of ways that Jesus describes Christ-Followers, and maybe sometime we will look at them; however, one of my favorite descriptions is this one.  He identifies us as "The Salt of The Earth."  The key to being salt is that we ensure, we allow Jesus to keep us savory.  This means we are sure we intentionally interact with him as he, by the Holy Spirit, writes his laws on our hearts and places them in our minds. So it means we allow him to transform us into what he expects us to be.      Then we have a job to do:  We are to put savor in the lives of those around us whose lives may not be filled with the wonderful savor of knowing God.   We don't need to throw so much salt on them that they are overwhelmed.  Nor are we to withhold the seasoning of God, as needed.  We are to let go and let God transform us and guide us, as  we interact wit...

NO CONDEMNATION: ONLY SALVATION

NO CONDEMNATION: ONLY SALVATION Therefore, there is NO condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus.   (Paul Romans 8:1)       There are a whole lot of people walking around today, and they are actually Christians, who carry a sense of guilt and shame around.   Though they believe in Jesus, they feel condemned. Like all human beings such people may slip, give into temptation and sin.   Once this happens they really feel worthless.   Some even wonder if God still loves them. This can really be painful and disheartening.   After all, aren’t we who follow Christ supposed to have “love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness goodness, faithfulness and self-control,” as a part of their spiritual DNA?      Guess what?   Even the Apostle Paul struggled like this: You will notice that the scripture above says there is “therefore” NO condemnation.   Why for the therefore?   Well, the therefore mea...
