I am the vine. You are the branches. If I abide in you, and you abide in Me, you will bear much fruit: Apart from me, you can do nothing. J E S U S In one of my favorite passages of scripture, John 15:1-17, Jesus describes the miracle of how a little branch can be extremely important in His vineyard, which is the body of Christ on full display. Here the Father is being who He is -- the Vine Dresser -- Jesus being who He is -- the Vine -- and we mere human beings being who we are -- individual branches throughout the vineyard. Then there is the Divine essence of God (Who IS God)  --The Holy Spirit -- flowing throughout the vineyard. All three persons of the Trinity are in action, but one God, with one will, one being and one purpose, working miracles of grace in each branch. And God is accomplishing great things in each little branch -- IF. I say "IF" because this is the perfect description between the Father, Jesus and us.   When Jesus faced down Satan, and he repeatedly defeated him, He spoke into each temptation the very word of God. He relied on the Word that He had hidden in His heart ❤️.  As Christ Followers, one of the very most important spiritual practices we can practice is to memorize God's Word.  We can keep it hidden in our hearts. Then, just when we need it most, we can use the Word to be overcomes. Resolve today to practice memorizing The Holy Word of God. Ready or Not Here It Comes Leap year is upon us. Yep! We get to have one extra day on the calendar of 2024. And as the new year opens up before our very eyes, whatever we bring into this year -- good, bad, happy or sad -- will be a part of the fabric of this new year. For some of us this will be challenging. Why? Because some are really struggling with what is going on in our culture. Many are having to grapple with spiritual, emotional, relational, financial and/or physical struggles. And just because people are saying "HAPPY NEW YEAR" these challenges are still very real. So, how are we to get ready for this if the new year, in focus, appears anything but happy? But Remember -- God I have learned that when life meets us head on, it is important to think of all these challenges, but remember God:  As Christ Followers, you and I are not in this journey alone, and as the ancient wisdom of Ecclesiastes 3:11a teaches, "God makes ALL things beautiful in it's time." ...

  For a long time now, my medical Doctors have called me a walking miracle.  Well,  today I know I have once again received a miracle through God answered prayers,  and I also received via the best medical care.  I have out lived my life expectancy by 20 years.  I was told I had a life expectancy of 5 years,  but by the grace of God I have successfully managed Coronary Artery Disease, Cardiomyopathy and Congestive Heart Failure nearly 25 years.  Praise the Lord. During the last year my heart really got out of rhythm.  50% of all heart beats were not healthy.  But today's miracle has my heart beating as normal as ever.  Hallelujah! I just wanted to share this with you today, Christ Followers.  May all who read this experience The God of Miracles today, through His Son,  Jesus,  by The Power of The Holy Spirit 🙌  S o J o u r n e r
