WATCH OUT! Stepping Stones for Victorius Christ Centered Living #4

 

 Watch out for false prophets.  They come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves.

By their fruit you will recognize them. Do people pick grapes from thorn bushes or figs from thistles? Likewise,  every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown in the fire; thus. By their fruit you will recognize them.

 Not every one who says to me 'Lord, Lord' will enter the Kingdom of Heaven but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in Heaven. Many will say to me on that day, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophecy in your name, and in Your name drive out demons, and in your name, perform many miracles? Then I will say to them plainly, 'Depart from me you evil doers. I never knew you. 

 Jesus: Matthew 7:15-23.

We live in an era when false leaders are popping up everywhere. They convince people that evil is good and good is evil.  They redefine God's law. They twist God's word. They behave in perverted ways.  They took what was God's original design and rename it as "traditional" in order that they may develop a false moral equivalence for their ideas to gain power and wealth. They call themselves "progressive" when everything they touch results in regressive results. Some of them are called Communist. Still others are called Socialist. Or they flower it up and call themselves "Democratic Socialist." They look real good, as they control much of media and social media. Some of these wear religious garb, and they lead churches into a numerical and immoral demise. 

Christ-Follower, Jesus warns you and me to WATCH OUT for such leaders who want to govern and rule over you. He says they are like sheep in wolves clothing. Looking innocent, they are ferocious wolves. He tells you and me that they are easy to spot. He says, "by their fruit you will know them." In other words He is telling us to pay attention to their actions and the results of their actions. They may sound really good, but they produce that which is really bad. And people who have the mind of Christ can spot them quickly because they produce something putrid compared to the things they promise.

These folks are going to be surprised one day. Jesus says at judgement they are going to really shocked. Oh, they may cloth themselves in religiosity and stuff, but they don't get to enter the Kingdom of Heaven. Why? Because, they flat out do not do God's will. They do all kinds of, what they consider good stuff, but Jesus is clear, they are God's law breakers. They are immoral. They are their own little gods, but not yielded to Christ Jesus as Savior and Lord.  Jesus actually tells them "Get away from me you workers of iniquity! I NEVER KNEW you!

If Government is God to them, then don't follow them.

If Jesus is not Lord or their lives, and their fruit doesn't bear it out, don't follow them.

If they do things for their own power and wealth, don't follow them.

If they flippantly treat the things of God as unimportant or try to reframe them, don't follow them.

If, if they dishonor their heritage, or their parents, they are living in sin. Don't follow them.

If they demonstrate disdain for that which is holy, murder babies via abortion. Don't follow them.

If they are sexually immoral, and even try to make sinful sexual mores as civil rights, don't follow them.

If stealing, rather than integrity is important, don't follow them.

If lying to get what they want, rather than speaking the truth, don't follow them.

If they are filled with a covetous philosophy to "share the wealth" where others owe you, even though they earned what they have, but you did not, don't follow them.

Such leaders, are destroying nations, lives and civilization to get what they want. YES! They may look good, but inside they are like the tombs of the prophets. They are clean and white washed on the outside, but inside they are cold, dark, and full of dead men's bones.  Jesus is clear. WATCH OUT! Don't follow them.

Look for people who demonstrate their love for God Almighty, through Christ, by the Holy Spirit. Look for people who bear the fruit of the Spirit. Look for people who bring out the best in you rather than trying to control you. Then, follow them. In so doing you will be walking on Stepping Stones For Victorious Christ Centered Living.
