Seven Beautiful Ways God Relates To You

The Lord God is with you, the Mighty Warrior who saves.
He will take great delight in you, in his love he will no longer rebuke you for your sin,
but he will rejoice over you with singing.

Zephaniah 3:17

I love thinking out how God relates to we who are mere mortals, even as He is the Holy, Almighty, Eternal Exalted God that created the Universe, including every Atom. Even though He designed it perfectly for all life, and sustains it every second of every moment of every hour of every day, He continually wishes to let us know how much He wants to relate to you and me.  Oddly enough we see some really great information that comes from an Old Testament Prophet named Zephaniah.

Check this out. Here are seven ways that God relates to you and me that I find interesting, and I find very comforting and exciting:

  1.  First, with all the craziness that is going on in the world today, we see, "The Lord God IS." Just the fact that God IS makes it clear that we are not alone.
  2. Second, God has chosen us. "The Lord God is WITH US!" This is really vital, God is not just some Universe out there, God is far greater. God decided that He exist to abide with you and me in a relationship. By the way, we Christ Followers know that we get this relationship through faith in Jesus the Messiah.
  3. Third, He is a "Mighty Warrior."  This tells us God is our protector. He has fought the greatest eternal battle, as He conquered the most evil one himself, through The Christ of The Cross!
  4.  Fourth, He "saves us!"  He saves us from hell! He saves us from death! He saves us from the grave! He saves us by bringing us out of The Kingdom of Darkness into His Kingdom of Light and life! He saves us from being slaves to sin!
  5. Fifth, God is "delighted" in you and in me. In other words, God gets joy just knowing each of us!  WOW! Us having a relationship with God makes God joy filled!
  6.  Sixth, even though we have broken God's law (we have sinned,) He loves us enough, not to rebuke us or punish us for our sin.  That is where the salvation comes from. Hallelujah!
  7.  Seventh, God "rejoices over" us "with singing! Now, it's one thing for us to sing Praise Songs, but it's amazing that God sings a Praise Song over we who are His people.
Let these word comfort you, and let them help you have a blessed day!
