The Beautiful Urgency of Discovering God's Will

 Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God's mercy,
That you present your body as a living sacrifice
 -- holy and acceptable unto God --
which is your spiritual act of worship,
and do not be conformed to the world,
but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.
Then, you will be able to test and approve what God's will is --
His good pleasing and perfect.
Romans 12:1-2

As we continue our chat about God's will, from yesterday, we can discover how we can come upon God's will.  Check out the passage above as we unpack the passage below:

Step #1: It is urgent we pursue God's will!
Step #2: Our merciful God is the one who makes this possible!
Step #3: We must make and offering of ourselves to God or surrender our bodies to God!
Step #4: As we surrender, God considers you and me as being holy and acceptable.  WOW!
Step #5: When we do so, God considers this surrender, our spiritual act of  worship!
Step #6: This surrender produces a change in us: We don't have to conform to the world's system!   
Step #7  Our thoughts are transformed . Our thinking becomes new,  Kingdom of God,  thinking! 
Step #8 We literally can test what God's will is!
Step #9 We can  approve what God's will is!
Step #10 And we can see how good it is, pleasing it is and how perfect it is!

So, you have it, Christ Followers: Here, in the very Ancient Wisdom, of our Creator and God, we have guidance, whatever we are facing, how to plug into God's will. This powerful principle, of surrender, will serve each of us well. And we will definitely be changed to serve God better.  Why not make this beautifully urgent means of knowing God's will become a part of every decision you make today?

We Can Be So Much More.

   We Can Be So Much More:  Let us learn about the powerful identity God the Father gives us, through our being IN Christ Jesus by the power of The Holy Spirit. Let us embrace our God given Eternal Inheritance.  ( Ephesians 1:3-14)  Let us get up, each morning and give ourselves up to God. (Romans 12:1-2.)  Let us wake up! And practice Gods practice of putting off the deeds of darkness, of being empowered to behave decently, like people who live in the day time. (Romans 13:11-14) Let us cloth our selves, in Jesus, by putting on the full armor of God each day! This will make us strong in the Lord and in His mighty power, and it will give us all we need to stand against the Devil's schemes. (Ephesians 6:10-20) Let us submit to God, and resist the Devil so he will have to flee from us. (James 4:7) Learn all we can about the enemy and know he has no authority over us. They come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves!  By their fruits you shall recognize them!  Do people pick grapes from thorn bushes or figs from thistles? Likewise, every good tree bears good fruit, and every bad tree bears bad fruit. A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, and a bad tree cannot bear good fruit. Every tree that does NOT bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Thus by their fruit you will recognize them. Not everyone who says to me 'Lord, Lord' will enter the Kingdom of Heaven, but ONLY those who do the will of my Father in Heaven.
