The Source
The source of our lives, and the power for holy, godly and healthy living, comes from a day by day abiding, or resting, in the Lord Jesus. He is the ONE who has all authority in Heaven and on Earth. (Matthew 28:18.) And He is the Head over all rule and authority. (Colossians 2:10.) It is important to know this because the reality of spiritual warfare is more real than most know, and as we abide in Him, He makes us complete. (Colossians 2:10 KJV.) We have the power, through our relationship to Jesus,  to draw close to God, and He will demonstrate His intimacy with us, through Jesus. We also have the power to submit to God, as we abide in Christ, and resist the Devil.  Satan actually has to run away from us. (James 4:7-8) When we humble ourselves to Him, "He will lift us up." (James 4:10)

Daily Be Intentional

So, let us be intentional, starting on this first day, of the first week, of the first month, of the first year of this new decade, to understand our journey will be more blessed -- fruit filled and power filled -- if we practice important spiritual practices: Let us grasp, and live by the truth that "It's THE Relationship and NOT Religiosity." Let us, each day -- and on purpose -- draw close the Almighty. Let us do so through prayer (In Jesus Name,) the Word, fellowship with other brothers and sisters in the vine, and  through our witness. Let us experience our Savior, and Great High Priest - Jesus, cleansing us each new day by the power of His blood, the sacrifice of His body that rose from the dead, and by the Power of God's own Holy Spirit.   

As we abide in Jesus, and He in us, we will certainly experience life to the full each new day God grants us.

We Can Be So Much More.

   We Can Be So Much More:  Let us learn about the powerful identity God the Father gives us, through our being IN Christ Jesus by the power of The Holy Spirit. Let us embrace our God given Eternal Inheritance.  ( Ephesians 1:3-14)  Let us get up, each morning and give ourselves up to God. (Romans 12:1-2.)  Let us wake up! And practice Gods practice of putting off the deeds of darkness, of being empowered to behave decently, like people who live in the day time. (Romans 13:11-14) Let us cloth our selves, in Jesus, by putting on the full armor of God each day! This will make us strong in the Lord and in His mighty power, and it will give us all we need to stand against the Devil's schemes. (Ephesians 6:10-20) Let us submit to God, and resist the Devil so he will have to flee from us. (James 4:7) Learn all we can about the enemy and know he has no authority over us. They come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves!  By their fruits you shall recognize them!  Do people pick grapes from thorn bushes or figs from thistles? Likewise, every good tree bears good fruit, and every bad tree bears bad fruit. A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, and a bad tree cannot bear good fruit. Every tree that does NOT bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Thus by their fruit you will recognize them. Not everyone who says to me 'Lord, Lord' will enter the Kingdom of Heaven, but ONLY those who do the will of my Father in Heaven.
