STOP: THE KEY TO VICTORY LIVING IN CHRIST



The Way to Live the Victorious Christian Life is NOT to Do or Perform Anything!
BUT TO STOP WHAT YOU ARE DOING!

STOP
Trying to make it happen and get it done.
 "Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him."
 Ps. 37:7

STOP
Focusing on yourself, your issues, your needs, your problems, your sin and..."Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith".
Hebrews 12:2

STOP

Trying to do right and not do wrong in your own strength:
"Count yourselves dead to sin but alive to God in Christ Jesus."
Rom. 6:11

STOP
Being anxious about your circumstance and your situation and "Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you."
1 Peter 5:7

STOP
Trying to be good, act like a good Christian and do good works for "Those who enter God’s rest also cease from their labors as God did from his".
Hebrews 4:10

STOP
Trying to improve yourself and be a better person and know that "In Him you have been made complete."
 Colossians 2:10

STOP
Trying to get ahead, do more and advance yourself and
"Do not concern yourself with great matters or
things too wonderful."
Psalms 131:1

STOP
Worrying, agitating and being troubled about anything or anyone and

"Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God."
Philippians 4:6

STOP
Criticizing and judging others and trying to change them and "Accept him whose faith is weak, without passing judgment."
 Romans 14:1

STOP
Trying to overcome your sin or addiction and know that
 "You have been set free from sin and have become slaves to God." Romans 13:14

STOP
Fantasizing about what you would like to have that you don’t and let
"Christ take control of you, and don’t think of ways
 to indulge your evil desires."
 Romans 13:14

STOP
Striving, straining and struggling to live the Christian life and know "I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me."
 Galatians 2:20

STOP
Whatever you are doing to try to live the Christian life and trust "Christ, who is your life."
 Colossians 3:4

 THE MEGA PROBLEM OF "PRIDE" Our country, and especially our leaders, have stolen a God Covenant Symbol-- THE RAINBOW-- which declares God's judgment for unholy living will never be accomplished through flood waters; however,  this doesn't mean God will NOT judge a nation,  or planet that is sin filled and full of pride.  We are living in a time that Jesus describes, in the Bible,  as "The Days of Noah." He prophesied of our day being like the generation that caused God to regret HE had ever made human beings.  Why? The answer is simple: HE had this regret because of "PRIDE." We Can Be So Much More.

   We Can Be So Much More:  Let us learn about the powerful identity God the Father gives us, through our being IN Christ Jesus by the power of The Holy Spirit. Let us embrace our God given Eternal Inheritance.  ( Ephesians 1:3-14)  Let us get up, each morning and give ourselves up to God. (Romans 12:1-2.)  Let us wake up! And practice Gods practice of putting off the deeds of darkness, of being empowered to behave decently, like people who live in the day time. (Romans 13:11-14) Let us cloth our selves, in Jesus, by putting on the full armor of God each day! This will make us strong in the Lord and in His mighty power, and it will give us all we need to stand against the Devil's schemes. (Ephesians 6:10-20) Let us submit to God, and resist the Devil so he will have to flee from us. (James 4:7) Learn all we can about the enemy and know he has no authority over us.   Jesus Rock Solid Teaching Regarding Picking Leaders Matthew 7:15-23      "Watch out for false prophets! They come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves!  By their fruits you shall recognize them!  Do people pick grapes from thorn bushes or figs from thistles? Likewise, every good tree bears good fruit, and every bad tree bears bad fruit. A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, and a bad tree cannot bear good fruit. Every tree that does NOT bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Thus by their fruit you will recognize them. Not everyone who says to me 'Lord, Lord' will enter the Kingdom of Heaven, but ONLY those who do the will of my Father in Heaven. Many will say to me on the day they give account of their lives, 'Lord, Lord' did we not prophesy in your name, and in you name drive out demons, and in your name perform many miracles?  Then I will tell them plainly, ' I never knew you! Away from me, you evil doers!'
