Who Really Hold's The Power?

When you rest in the LORD, who is God Almighty,
there is a deep rest that no one can take away. When you give up your power and surrender to His power, it is here you find miraculous grace... grace that will truly amaze.

  When Death Becomes A part of Life:  When death becomes a part of life, it is accompanied by grief and a troubled heart. In John 14: 1-6, this is precisely what is going on as Jesus teaches His disciples, and us, 21 centuries later. In this sacred Word of God, that will sustain you and me during one of the hardest times in life, Jesus speaks clearly, dearly, with love, compassion and tenderness about Heaven. His disciples are troubled. They are afraid. They are confused. The Cross looms awesomely on their horizon, and their world feels like it's unraveling.   The Shield That Stops Satan's Fire “In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one.” — Ephesians 6:16 IN ADDITION TO ALL THIS As we continue this series where we put on the armor of God, to clothe ourselves in Jesus Christ, in order for us to be strong in the Lord and in His mighty power, and as we do this to be able to stand against the Devil’s schemes, the Apostle Paul tells us we need to add a really vital part to our spiritual armor , if we want to defeat Satan in his primary scheme: After all,  “He is a liar, and he is the father of all lies, and when he lies he speaks his native language.” {John 8:44c} Therefore, we need to add “The Shield of Faith.” Then we are empowered to stop Satan's fire.
