A K.I.S.S From God. Or Praying It Simple

The old Prophet, Jeremiah, made a simple, but life changing, statement.  Check it out:  "Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know." (Jeremiah 33:3)  It is like 2+2=4.   Yes Jeremiah is smarter than a 5th grader, especially when it come to connecting with God.   Don't make prayer some difficult exposition of so called holy words.  A simple heart felt call on the Almighty will bring God's answer that is... well you can read it in red above.   

Jesus told us the same thing and exemplified it with The Lord's Prayer.  Depending on your translation it is only 66 words.  Yet it covers some really powerful issues of prayer important to God.  It is the perfect model for praying.  Basically He tells us to pray 4 S's:  Keep your prayer Short, Secret, Simple and Sincere.

Want God to tell you important stuff?  Want to know about things that you will not know otherwise? When you pray take a page from Jeremiah:  Keep It Simple Saint.

    Yes, we do need to keep the prayers simple, but regardless of how simple the prayers, if we just keep talking, even as simply as we possibly can, we still won't hear what He wants to say to us if we don't shut up and listen.

We Can Be So Much More.

   We Can Be So Much More:  Let us learn about the powerful identity God the Father gives us, through our being IN Christ Jesus by the power of The Holy Spirit. Let us embrace our God given Eternal Inheritance.  ( Ephesians 1:3-14)  Let us get up, each morning and give ourselves up to God. (Romans 12:1-2.)  Let us wake up! And practice Gods practice of putting off the deeds of darkness, of being empowered to behave decently, like people who live in the day time. (Romans 13:11-14) Let us cloth our selves, in Jesus, by putting on the full armor of God each day! This will make us strong in the Lord and in His mighty power, and it will give us all we need to stand against the Devil's schemes. (Ephesians 6:10-20) Let us submit to God, and resist the Devil so he will have to flee from us. (James 4:7) Learn all we can about the enemy and know he has no authority over us. They come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves!  By their fruits you shall recognize them!  Do people pick grapes from thorn bushes or figs from thistles? Likewise, every good tree bears good fruit, and every bad tree bears bad fruit. A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, and a bad tree cannot bear good fruit.
