Overcoming Difficult Times: A Promise

No temptation has seized you except what is common to human kind.   Remember this:  God is faithful, and      HE will not let your struggles be more than you can handle.    Also remember, when you are tempted, HE will provide a way out so that  you can endure your challenge. Paraphrase 1 Corinthians 10:13 Things To Consider: 1 Others Have Gone Through Your Challenge With The Help of The Almighty. 2 God DID NOT Cause The Struggle. He is NOT putting Anything On you, He is your Deliverer. God IS your helper in Your Hour of Need. 3 He Will Faithfully Provide You A Way To Make It Through... Even when no way is apparent. You can make it through. 4 Look for God's way out, and head for the Exit. Take some time to think about this Then Be Blessed 2day Especially 2day :o)> SoJourner

The Prayer That Brings Balance

God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change; courage to change the things I can; and wisdom to know the difference. Living one day at a time; Enjoying one moment at a time; Accepting hardships as the pathway to peace; Taking, as He did, this sinful world as it is, not as I would have it; Trusting that He will make all things right if I surrender to His Will; That I may be reasonably happy in this life and supremely happy with Him Forever in the next. Amen. Pray This When Things Seem Out of Control Then Be Blessed 2day Especially 2day. Thank you Reinhold Niebuhr

Life Changing Prayer #2

Fill In The Blank With The Name Of The One(s) For Whom You are praying, Watch What Happens Next. Praying The Scriptures See this Power Prayer In Ephesians 1 Dear God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, please  give to ______ the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that they may know You better.  I pray also that the eyes of _______ heart may be enlightened in order that they may know the hope to which You have called them, the riches of Your glorious inheritance in the saints,  and please give  _______ the ability to know the incomparably great power You give to all of us who believe . That power is like the working of Your mighty strength,  which You exerted in Christ when he raised him from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly realms, far above all rule and authority, power and dominion, and every title that can be given, not only in the present age but also in...

A Prayer That Changes Lives

Dear God, Please fill us with the knowledge of Your will through all spiritual wisdom and understanding. I pray this in order that we may live a life worthy of You Lord and may please You in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God, being strengthened with all power according to Your glorious might so that we  may have great endurance and patience, and joyfully giving thanks to You The Father, who has qualified us to share in the inheritance of the saints in the kingdom of light. For You have rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of Jesus, the Son whom You  love, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins. In Jesus Name AMEN! Reciprocal Spirituality

Old Johnny Appleseed knew what he was doing planting all those seeds throughout his region, and he expected a harvest to be reaped that was hundreds of thousands of times greater than he had sown. He received exactly what he expected.   When he planted those apple seeds, he was intentional: He was intentional about what he wanted to grow, and he was intentional about what he did not want.  In other words he was NOT expecting peas, okra, squash, watermelon or oranges.  He was expecting apples. So he sowed the right seed , at the right time in the right place , and he did it on purpose .  Needless to say he demonstrated a fruitful life.  He demonstrated reciprocal sowing and reaping.  He indeed did reap what he had sown. Our spirituality (or spiritual journey) is of little difference conceptually:  Paul summed it up about as good as it can be said.  Sow to the Spirit and you will reap spiritual fruit.  In other ...

RECIPROCITY

Judge not or you will be judged: Jesus One of the most difficult lessons I have learned is related to the law of sowing and reaping.  And if we sow to the positive we will reap the positive.  Sow to the negative and we will reap the negative.  Sow fair judgment, and we will be judged fairly. Our eastern friends call this Karma.   This is a fancy term for "What goes around comes around." Sadly, I discovered what I thought was fair turned out not to be so.  How did I find out it was not so.  I got a taste of being judged unfairly, and this put me on my knees crying out to God.  And it cost me dearly. It is NO fun being in the middle of a spiritual warfare battle field. Now I am not saying that this is all my fault.  Because it is not.  There is clear evil in the world, and if you stand for that which is good, you will be challenged.  So Sowing good can get you tested as well.  All I am saying is it is best to stic...

Responding To God's Wisdom

4 Ways Of Responding To God's Wisdom:  (1)Let it come into one ear and out the other.  (2) Get all emotional about it, but have little depth of spirituality with which to use it to make a difference.  (3)Tangle the Wisdom in our worries (even our successes) negating the possibility any fruit will be born of the Wisdom... (4)  Or simply let it take root in our hearts... abide with the Wisdom until we can stop and let God make the Wisdom make a difference in us and the world around us. SoJourner
