Is fear a part of your life? If so, what is it that you fear? Do you fear punishment? Do you fear rejection? Do you fear failure? Do you fear that you are what you are and you cannot change? Do you fear that your life will not get any better? If so, let me share some encouraging words with you. And if you are a Christ Follower, hear this LOUD AND CLEAR! God surely does love you!
Receive Lavished Love
He lavished love on you by making you HIS child. Meditate on this. "How great is the love the Father has lavished on us that we should be called the children of God, and that is what we are!" (1 John 3:1) God's love for you, who bow your knees and confess Jesus as Lord, is heaped on you! God's love is poured out or showered on you. Like a glorious deluge, He wants it to flow through your life! And the evidence of this is you are no longer a child of the Devil! God changed that completely, and now you ARE a child of God! That IS what you are! Open up your heart and let God love on you the way that ONLY God can love. Embrace God's perfect love. Make it your own.
NO FEAR: Don't Fear Punishment
Hear the Word of God: "This is how God showed His love to us. He sent His only begotten Son that we might live through Him. This is love, not that we loved God, but God loved us. And He sent his Son to turn aside God's wrath; thus, atoning for our sin(s)." (1 John 4:19) Jesus emptied Himself and became "The lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world!" He took away our sins! (John 1:29 & 36) He took our punishment to impart God's perfect love. Reject Satan's lie that God is out to get you. By faith, receive God's perfect love and don't fear punishment. Embrace God's perfect love. Make it you own.
No FEAR: Don't Fear Rejection
Hear The Word of The Lord: "Once you were alienated from God and enemies in your own mind, because of your evil behavior, but now God has reconciled us to Himself, by Christ's physical body through death: He did this to present us Holy in God's sight, without blemish and free from all accusation, if you continue in the faith not moved from the hope held out in the Gospel!" (Colossians 1:21-23) God's perfect love reveals Christ Followers are totally accepted by God! You, and I -- when God views us -- are Holy! We are unblemished before Him! And we are free from ALL accusation! HALLELUJAH! All we need to do is continue in the faith. Then we will not be moved from this perfect love held out in the good news. Don't Fear rejection.. Embrace God's acceptance through His Perfect Love ❤️ Make it you own.
NO FEAR: Don't Fear Failure
Hear The Word of The Lord: "No one is declared righteous in God's sight by observing the law. Rather through the law, we know what God says is right, and what God says is wrong. But now there is a righteousness, from God, that has been revealed, and it is a righteousness about which the the Law & the prophets, testified. This righteousness -- FROM GOD -- comes through faith in the Lord Jesus, to all who believe; for,there is no difference. All have sinned and have fallen short of the glory of God, and they are justified, freely, by His grace, through the redemption that comes through Christ Jesus. For God made Jesus an atoning sacrifice for our sin. " (Romans 3:20-25.)
Yep, we have all blown it! We have failed. We have come up short; nevertheless, as we place our faith in Jesus, we are forgiven! We are made new creations! We are justified! That is, God looks at us in a way we can say, "He views me JUST AS IF I NEVER SINNED." We get a clean record. Jesus removes the sin virus from the hard drive of our souls! And we get the stuff to be enough!
NO FEAR: Don't Fear Your Life Can't Get Better
Hear The Word of The Lord: " For in Him (Jesus) dwells the fulness of the Godhead bodily. And you are complete in Him, who is the head of all principalities and power. By Him you were circumcised (transformed) with a circumcision not made by human hands. And this gives you the power to put off the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ." (By the transformational power of Christ) Colossians 2:9-11)
Don't believe the lie you cannot get better nor your life cannot get better because you have been made complete in the one who is in charge. He is Jesus. He changes you from the inside out, and gives us the complete power to have the stuff to be enough. As the Lord said, "Fear Not!" Allow the power of the Holy Spirit to flow through you. Put off those sins of the flesh. Christ gives you the power to do so. You can be better because you ARE better.
There is no need to allow fear to get to you because you are in the grip of grace.
