Murder-Mayhem-Mutilation-Millennials-Xers-And Z's

As one who follows Jesus, my heart breaks for America as it slides further towards a path of destruction, while it's foundations crumble. A huge portion of our culture has forgotten what it means to be "one nation Under God!" We have forgotten that we have been "Endowed by our Creator,"and we were given "unalienable rights" of "life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness." We have forgotten what Jesus said about people who harm little children. He said, "it is better for a millstone to hung around their neck and that they be cast into the depth of the sea." (Luke 17:2)

However, now in New York State, the Democratic legislature passed a bill, and the Governor signed it. The bill approves the taking of a baby's life, even at the date of birth. If the baby survives a botched abortion, the law allows for it to be left to die or destroyed outside the womb. It also does away with double homicides if a man kills his pregnant wife. The baby in no longer counted as a human being in the event of her murder. Also, an abusive man can attempt to kill his wife, he can no longer be prosecuted for the killing of the baby in the womb. If the mother survives, the man can go free, and be charged with a lesser crime for his abusive behavior, but he will NOT be charged with murder. I guess the woman's feelings and thoughts, again, don't matter.  OUTRAGEOUS!

But there is more: In New York, a person performing the abortion does NOT have to be a Doctor. Oh well... I guess protecting the woman's life is secondary to the abortion industry making its millions of dollars. And speaking of the woman, when I was serving as an active duty Air Force Chaplain,  I remember post abortive women, who came to me for counseling, and they were so broken, guilty and ashamed. This tended to occur a few months after they had their abortion.  Healing was slow in coming from their trauma. I call it Post Abortion Disorder. Though you will never get the APA to sign off on it. Let me tell you that the symptoms are every bit as disturbing as full blown PTSD.

When Roe Vs. Wade was decided, and I think wrongly, it was based on abortions being allowed up to the time when a baby couldn't live outside the womb on it's own. Many said this could lead to the slippery slope of the taking of innocent life later in the pregnancy. We have slid completely over a cliff to the bottom of the pit of murderous intent.

Interestingly enough, more and more millenials, Xers and even Z's are becoming pro life. Sonograms and "reveal" parties, have caused many to fully recognize their baby's long before they actually are born. I am praying they will understand, for their own sakes, and the sake of their babies, just how correct they really are.

One last thing: The most heartbreaking part of this is that the Democrats, in the New York legislature, actually stood up, celebrated, applauded and cheered the signing of this law. Former Secretary of State, and Presidential Candidate, Hillary Clinton and Governor Cuomo, also are celebratory the signing away the lives of babies, as they establish the death penalty for innocent little children.  This former Democrat is no longer welcome in the Democratic Party, and I frankly don't care about the removal of their welcome mat for people like me. It's no wonder there are so many in the #walkaway movement.  I have walked away a while ago.
