Gateways: Life or Death? The Ultimate Terrorist.



Since September 11, 2001, a system was set up to protect us in our Airports. In this system, people line up to take off their shoes, remove their belts, be X Rayed, and go through a real narrow gate or path in hopes of not setting off the dreaded alarm. Why -- in the name of our Lord Jesus -- would anyone put themselves such an uncomfortable experience? The answer to this question is easy: People are afraid of Terrorists getting on their airplane, and they want to stay on the path that keeps them alive.

The Ultimate Terrorist

As I recently wrote in Rock-Solid Living In A Quicksand World-Rewind, there is an Ultimate Terrorist, who wants nothing but to "Steal, Kill and Destroy." (John 10:10) Jesus wasn't playing when He made it clear this "thief"  is a bad dude that operates from the heavenly dimensions. He is the one who has been deceiving people for years, and this deception has resulted in the death of millions upon millions, and it has resulted in enslaving people to bondage to sin and death. He is so slick that he convinces people to take the broadgate that leads to destruction; meanwhile Jesus points us to the gate that frees us from this Ultimate Terrorist power, from his power,  and he gives us the ability to defeat Satan each new day.

Jesus tells us, as he spoke of himself, "I am the gate; whoever enters through me will be saved." And he is talking about you being saved from the death and destruction the Ultimate Terrorist tries to trick you into. (John 10:9) Jesus calls his gate "narrow," but he is the way that leads to life. Still people, more and more, are ignoring this eternal life producing guidance.  I hope you choose the right way... the narrow. Just as you choose to go through the narrow way in the air terminal to be sure to have life apart from terrorists, I do hope you choose Jesus each day, as your Savior and Lord, in order that the Ultimate Terrorist cannot take you down! There are two paths set before you ... life and death!  Choose Life!

We Can Be So Much More.

   We Can Be So Much More:  Let us learn about the powerful identity God the Father gives us, through our being IN Christ Jesus by the power of The Holy Spirit. Let us embrace our God given Eternal Inheritance.  ( Ephesians 1:3-14)  Let us get up, each morning and give ourselves up to God. (Romans 12:1-2.)  Let us wake up! And practice Gods practice of putting off the deeds of darkness, of being empowered to behave decently, like people who live in the day time. (Romans 13:11-14) Let us cloth our selves, in Jesus, by putting on the full armor of God each day! This will make us strong in the Lord and in His mighty power, and it will give us all we need to stand against the Devil's schemes. (Ephesians 6:10-20) Let us submit to God, and resist the Devil so he will have to flee from us. (James 4:7) Learn all we can about the enemy and know he has no authority over us.   Jesus Rock Solid Teaching Regarding Picking Leaders Matthew 7:15-23      "Watch out for false prophets! They come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves!  By their fruits you shall recognize them!  Do people pick grapes from thorn bushes or figs from thistles? Likewise, every good tree bears good fruit, and every bad tree bears bad fruit. A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, and a bad tree cannot bear good fruit. Every tree that does NOT bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Thus by their fruit you will recognize them. Not everyone who says to me 'Lord, Lord' will enter the Kingdom of Heaven, but ONLY those who do the will of my Father in Heaven.
