Lighting Us Up

May God enlighten the eyes of your heart so that you will better know the hope to which God has called you ... the riches of the glorious inheritance of the Saints.
Part Of A Pauline Prayer: 

     Another prayer you can pray for those you love is a part of the same prayer we discussed yesterday.   It is a prayer for God to light up your life beginning with your heart.  It is a prayer where you, God's prayer trooper, is hoping and praying for your loves ones to better know the hope God gives us, and it is a hope that is a part of our calling.   Yes, God is calling us to hope. We indeed to have this hope, but to truly have a much better quality of life, we can embrace this hope.  I want my loves ones to embrace this hope.  Don't you?

    How can we make this holy hug possible? It starts with you and me simply praying what Paul prayed for the church.  It is a prayer for God to enlighten the hearts of our loved one, and our hearts, so as to embrace our ancient and eternal inheritance.  All Christ-Followers have a heritage.  So let's be sure our loved ones and others have it, and let's be sure we make it our own.  Now we can step back from our earthly heritage.  And we can walk away from it, but this one is one that is the most grand and glorious of all.  It's insanity to even think about not understanding it better.

    You can find this inheritance spelled in Ephesians 1:3-14 where we are told that God chose us to be holy and blameless in His sight.  God chose us to adopted eternally as His children.  God's Holy Spirit is given to us.  God redeems us and forgives every sin because of the blood of Jesus. God includes us in Christ and Christ in us once we believe the gospel. God secures us so that no one can rob us of our inheritance.  Finally God totally prepares us for the fulfillment of the mystery of the final reign of Christ.  I said God spells this inheritance out.  Check this out:

Chosen to be holy and blameless in God's sight and chosen to be adopted.
Holy because the Holy Spirit is given us producing His fruit and gifts.
Redeemed or forgiven because of Jesus shed blood.
Included because we believe the gospel
Secured by the Holy Spirit and God's promises
Totally prepared.

Therefore, I challenge you to pray for those, whom you love, to have their hearts enlightened from their hearts so that each would better know the hope to which each is called ... the riches of the GLORIOUS inheritance of the Saints.  There is no heritage or inheritance like it.

We Can Be So Much More.

   We Can Be So Much More:  Let us learn about the powerful identity God the Father gives us, through our being IN Christ Jesus by the power of The Holy Spirit. Let us embrace our God given Eternal Inheritance.  ( Ephesians 1:3-14)  Let us get up, each morning and give ourselves up to God. (Romans 12:1-2.)  Let us wake up! And practice Gods practice of putting off the deeds of darkness, of being empowered to behave decently, like people who live in the day time. (Romans 13:11-14) Let us cloth our selves, in Jesus, by putting on the full armor of God each day! This will make us strong in the Lord and in His mighty power, and it will give us all we need to stand against the Devil's schemes. (Ephesians 6:10-20) Let us submit to God, and resist the Devil so he will have to flee from us. (James 4:7) Learn all we can about the enemy and know he has no authority over us. They come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves!  By their fruits you shall recognize them!  Do people pick grapes from thorn bushes or figs from thistles? Likewise, every good tree bears good fruit, and every bad tree bears bad fruit. A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, and a bad tree cannot bear good fruit. Every tree that does NOT bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Thus by their fruit you will recognize them. Not everyone who says to me 'Lord, Lord' will enter the Kingdom of Heaven, but ONLY those who do the will of my Father in Heaven.
