Your Peace Process

Anxiety is not a lot of fun, and there are steps you can take to help enhance your peace:
  • First put on the Armor of God or clothe  yourself in Christ Jesus.  Paul says that we have, once we met Christ, shod our feet with the readiness that comes from the gospel that produces peace. So daily let us surrender our journey to Him as we begin each new day: Romans 12:1-2
  • Second, we would do well to know that, when we are in Christ and He is in us, we are united with him, intimate with Him and one spirit with Him.  And HE is THE PRINCE of Peace.
  • Third, since we walk in peace via the gospel of peace, and since we have the Prince of Peace as our most intimate relationship, it is a very good idea to "Let the peace of Christ rule our hearts."  Doing otherwise makes little sense.
  • Fourth, we let this happen by grabbing hold of the peace He has left with us and make it ours on a daily basis.  He did promise "Peace I leave with you. My peace I give you, and it is not like the kind of peace the world gives..."  It is the kind of peace that does NOT let our hearts be troubled or afraid.
  • Fifth, when anxiety hits, reflect on Philippians 4:6-7. Pray, petition God regarding what is going on... thank God for what is making you anxious, focus on the fact that God is in control, and let that kind of peace that "surpasses all understanding guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus."  He promises that He will provide you the peace of God as you practice this spiritual practice.  Jesus practiced being a person who does this in the Garden of Gethsemane.
  • Sixth, fill up you mind with good stuff. Don't fill your mind with trash. When you do this, He promises the "God of Peace will be with you." Check out Philippians 4:8-9 for God's guidance on this.
Yes, God offers peace, but as He does, we have to cooperate with His game plan for achieving peace.

So why not give this a try and ....

Be Blessed 2day Especially 2day
