2 Things That Make God Smile

The Lord is pleased with
Those
Who worship Him
And
Who Trust His
Love.
Psalm 147:11(CEV)
 
         As I read this passage, I can almost imagine God looking at His child that worships Him and trust His love, and I can imagine Him beaming and chuckling a bit.  Why?  Well I think He does this for the two reasons stated:  First He smiles when His children worship (intentionally surrender themselves to Him.) It simply pleases Him.  Second, He smiles because He has been reaching out to the generations for millennia stating, "I love you" by thought word and deed.  He has been reaching out to us with His love, not only as a part of a group, but He has been reaching out to us individually.
    Therefore, when His children finally "get it," it has a way of blessing He who is the source of all blessings. It's kind of like watching our children or grandchildren, when they are small, discover how to walk.  We parents and grandparents cheer those little ones on, as it makes us smile.
    So why not make God smile?  Why not please Him?  Why not surrender each new day to Him?  And why not believe that He really does love you indeed.  Make a habit of surrendering each new day to Him through Jesus.  Make a habit of taking hold of the love with which He wants to bless you.  Then...

We Can Be So Much More.

   We Can Be So Much More:  Let us learn about the powerful identity God the Father gives us, through our being IN Christ Jesus by the power of The Holy Spirit. Let us embrace our God given Eternal Inheritance.  ( Ephesians 1:3-14)  Let us get up, each morning and give ourselves up to God. (Romans 12:1-2.)  Let us wake up! And practice Gods practice of putting off the deeds of darkness, of being empowered to behave decently, like people who live in the day time. (Romans 13:11-14) Let us cloth our selves, in Jesus, by putting on the full armor of God each day! This will make us strong in the Lord and in His mighty power, and it will give us all we need to stand against the Devil's schemes. (Ephesians 6:10-20) Let us submit to God, and resist the Devil so he will have to flee from us. (James 4:7) Learn all we can about the enemy and know he has no authority over us. They come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves!  By their fruits you shall recognize them!  Do people pick grapes from thorn bushes or figs from thistles? Likewise, every good tree bears good fruit, and every bad tree bears bad fruit. A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, and a bad tree cannot bear good fruit. Every tree that does NOT bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Thus by their fruit you will recognize them.
