A Dad's Father's Day Blessing For His Children


Dear Lord I bless our children (spouses are children) and our grandchildren, on This Father’s Day, in YOUR Holy Name:
May they be blessed with the capability to be filled with the knowledge of YOUR will, through all spiritual wisdom and understanding, so that they can live lives worthy of YOU and please YOU in every way.  By the power of YOUR Holy Spirit, I pronounce this blessing so that they will bear fruit in every good work.  I bless them to grow in the knowledge of God and be strengthened with ALL power according to YOUR glorious might. I bless them to  have great endurance and patience.  And I bless them so their hearts will be filled with joy and thanksgiving.  I bless them because YOU have blessed them to be qualified to share in the inheritance of the saints.  I bless them because YOU have rescued them from the Kingdom of Darkness, and YOU have transferred them into the Kingdom of Light… The Kingdom of the Son of God whom YOU love. I bless them because YOU have redeemed them and forgiven every single sin.  I bless them in Jesus Name.  AMEN

Ready or Not Here It Comes Leap year is upon us. Yep! We get to have one extra day on the calendar of 2024. And as the new year opens up before our very eyes, whatever we bring into this year -- good, bad, happy or sad -- will be a part of the fabric of this new year. For some of us this will be challenging. Why? Because some are really struggling with what is going on in our culture. Many are having to grapple with spiritual, emotional, relational, financial and/or physical struggles. And just because people are saying "HAPPY NEW YEAR" these challenges are still very real. So, how are we to get ready for this if the new year, in focus, appears anything but happy?
