A DAY TO PRAY

Put it on your calendar: 
 A DAY TO PRAY  January 20th 2013.
 
 
This is a special day in the lives of Americans... not only because of what the date means (The Day Before The U.S. Presidential Inauguration) but because of what a difference we can make when we pray.  This challenge is for all people of all political stripes.  And while it is a national challenge for folks in the good ole USA, I am challenging the people of the world to join us.
 
I am  not asking you to pray to convince our political leaders of anything that favors your own personal political agenda...nor my political agenda.  I am simply asking you to pray for God to speak to our leaders/your leaders in a convincing clear way about God's agenda, whatever that may be.  So I guess I am asking everyone to simply put aside your personal concerns and trust the ALMIGHTY GOD to make God's agenda clear.
 
 
I am not asking you to spend every waking moment of 20 Jan 2013 on your knees.  Just set you LCD (Your Watch) to go off every hour of the day, and when it goes off, stop.... slow down... if possible sit down......Breath deep.......Breath slow...pray :
 
"God please speak to our leaders clearly about what you expect of them, and convict them to follow through"
 
That's all I am asking.
 
Now when this happens to a person (political leader)  who is not use to listening for God (and they are certainly not wanting to hear voices),  this could be a significant emotional event:o)
 
Additonally you may not believe God speaks to us today.  Well why not try this as an experiment and simply do this anyway. If you are right, it's not going to matter.  If you are wrong, but still take the prayer challenge, it could make the world a better place.
 
Now here in the USA there is a web page that goes deeper into this, and it asked of you more details.  It is also American specific. The web page is www.ADaytoPray.com   But I think the whole world needs some serious prayer right now.

We Can Be So Much More.

   We Can Be So Much More:  Let us learn about the powerful identity God the Father gives us, through our being IN Christ Jesus by the power of The Holy Spirit. Let us embrace our God given Eternal Inheritance.  ( Ephesians 1:3-14)  Let us get up, each morning and give ourselves up to God. (Romans 12:1-2.)  Let us wake up! And practice Gods practice of putting off the deeds of darkness, of being empowered to behave decently, like people who live in the day time. (Romans 13:11-14) Let us cloth our selves, in Jesus, by putting on the full armor of God each day! This will make us strong in the Lord and in His mighty power, and it will give us all we need to stand against the Devil's schemes. (Ephesians 6:10-20) Let us submit to God, and resist the Devil so he will have to flee from us. (James 4:7) Learn all we can about the enemy and know he has no authority over us.   Jesus Rock Solid Teaching Regarding Picking Leaders Matthew 7:15-23      "Watch out for false prophets! They come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves!  By their fruits you shall recognize them!  Do people pick grapes from thorn bushes or figs from thistles? Likewise, every good tree bears good fruit, and every bad tree bears bad fruit. A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, and a bad tree cannot bear good fruit. Every tree that does NOT bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Thus by their fruit you will recognize them. Not everyone who says to me 'Lord, Lord' will enter the Kingdom of Heaven, but ONLY those who do the will of my Father in Heaven.
