Divine Intersections

Have you ever had a Divine Intersection?  What is that?  Its an occasion when you intersect some one's life where you just know you are going to make a positive difference, and when it occurs... well the encounter is  so uncanny that God surely must have put you with that person in that intersection at the right moment and the right time.

I started praying for these DI's some time ago, and the numbers have increased directly proportional to those requests.  I simply pray, "God please let me intersect someone today that needs a Divine Touch." I do not intentionally pray to get a personal  benefit; however, when I see the DI occur, it "blesses my socks off."  I actually get to see broken lives begin to transform before my very eyes...one day at a time one step at at time.  Then  I usually sojourn with that person as (Christ's Rep) for quite awhile.  Yup! Praying like this, and getting to intersect the lives of hurting people, is worth the time it takes to pray.  It makes your journey more enjoyable as well.

Who is in need of a DI?  In my case, I intersect broken/wounded warriors, their families and those Veterans who served but were not combatants.  No my "congregation" is not made up folks who have it all together.  It is made up, for the most part, of people who need their pieces put back together.  So, it is especially thrilling to see a jumbled up jigsaw puzzle of a life come together into a more whole life that everyone can see.

There are all kind of folks that need Divine Intersections, and they don't have to be warriors or obviously wounded people. I am fairly certain you intersect people who need a Divine Touch every single day.  But you may not be able to see what is just under the surface.  You may work with that person.  You may sit next to them on a plane.  You might go to some kind of club with them. Someone you pass by may need help, but they don't know how to ask for it.  DI candidates might even be sitting right in front of you in your Church. They even might have the sweetest smile possible serving as the veneer that helps them barely hold it together.  It could be a student in your class. It could be any human being you simply pass by each day.

What kind of challenge is this?   All your DI candidate might need is just for you to say a kind word or ask sincerely "How are you today?"  Then just listen sincerely as well.  Or it might just involve you doing them a kindness. There are all kinds of DI's. The key is Divine guidance resulting from your prayer that will cause positive things to  happen in the lives of hurting people

Try this out:  As you get ready for your day, simply pray to have Divine Intersections and see what happens in your daily walk.  I think you will be glad you prayed, and I think you will be glad you became God's instrument of love and grace.

Be Blessed 2day... Especially 2day
